The Mestske (municipal) museum with paleontological, archeological, historical and ethnical exposition may be visited on the square. Close to this square, the museum of famous painter and illustrator Zdenek Burian is located. The cave Sipka is set at the south border of the town and on the north slope of Kotouc. It is a national monument where remains of Neanderthal baby’s jawbone have been discovered.
